Our History

  • 1998    Our founder, Mr. Ravi Rai, moves from Singapore to India.
  • 1998    Our organization is registered in India under the Society Registration Act.
  • 1999    Our first centre opens in the village, District Gorakhpur, U.P.
  • 2000   Mr. Sree Niwas Rai, Singaporean MP, visits our first centre.
  • 2001    Our first school opens in the village, District Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
  • 2002   Mr. Ravi Rai receives Singapore International Foundation Award from
    the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore.
  • 2004   Our second centre opens in Gorakhpur City, U.P.
  • 2004   Mr J.P. Batra, General Manager of North Eastern Railway, inaugurates
    our centre in Gorakhpur City.
  • 2005   Inauguration of our children’s centre in Gorakhpur City, by His Excellency
    Mr. See Chak Mun, the Singapore High Commissioner to India.
  • 2005   Mr. Ravi Rai receives the Bharat Gaurav Samman award (Mumbai) from
    His Excellency, the Governor of Goa, India.
  • 2006    Inauguration of our children’s classroom in Gorakhpur City, by
    Chairman of Railway Board, Ministry of Railway, Government of India,
  • 2006    Our third centre opens in Lucknow City, U.P.
  • 2006    Inauguration of our Lucknow centre by Mrs. Nirmal Batra,
    President, Railway Board, Women’s Welfare Organization,
    Ministry of Railway, Government of India.
  • 2007    Our fourth centre opens in the village, District Lucknow, U.P.
  • 2008    Our fifth centre opens in Delhi.
  • 2010    Our President, Mr. Ravi Rai, is selected as a member of the
    Child Welfare Committee for the Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
  • 2011      Mr. S.K Budhlakoti, the General Manager of Northern Railway,
    visits our centre in Delhi.
  • 2013     Our President, Ravi Rai, is presented with a Humanitarian Award
    by Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, the Chief Minister of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
